Child Care & Early Child Development
For those that care for young children, learning how to prevent injuries, and knowing how to care for any injuries in the child care & preschool settings is essential.
If you care for pre-grade school children in the State of California, you and your staff must meet the these requirements per the California Department of Social Services:
"providers must complete a 15-hour training course that includes pediatric CPR and first-aid, safety, and health education. Providers are also encouraged to take a variety of classes, such as nutrition and child development.
For child care center programs, at least one person who has finished a 15-hour training course in pediatric CPR and first-aid, safety, and health education must be on site at all times."
Our Instructors can provide on site training which covers the 8 hours required for Pediatric First Aid & CPR, which must be renewed every two years.
